Hi!
I'm Eleanor

You beauty, I'm so
pleased you found me.

I'm an independent Celebrant based in gorgeous York, but travelling nationwide for love. You're a wild romantic, searching for a stylish, authentic, beautiful ceremony. A match made in heaven.

A Celebrant-led ceremony is a vibrant celebration of infinite potential – a fabulous moment that lets you be your most perfect and wonderful selves. It's such a privilege to be able to stand with you and help bring your dreams to life.

Wondering how I work? Find out!

My story

Training as an independent celebrant was a culmination of everything that brings me joy: meeting wonderful people, telling their stories, and celebrating love. Why should anyone have to compromise the biggest moments of their lives when there are countless ways to celebrate and share themselves with the world? And to help bring those moments to life? Yas!

My own wedding was due to take place in May 2020 (finally happening in June 2021 with an exclusive cohort of 20…), and as I worked through the various emotions that came with the postponement, I realised that supporting other couples, telling their stories, and celebrating their love was the only thing I wanted to do.

Based in York in the north of England, my background is in marketing for weird and wonderful heritage organisations – cathedrals, abbeys, stately homes –, and hunting out stories and digging around behind the scenes is my bag. And so, in the fun-filled year that was 2020, I gained my Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy with Civil Ceremonies Ltd, and haven’t looked back.

Let’s get together and share the beauty, the joy, and the delight that you find in each other with the world.
